    Not sure how to enable the Crystal HD drivers. They do not show as an option.

    Piethein this is a long shot but is there any chance you could build an image of XBMC linux running on the AppleTV with Crystal HD support that could boot from USB ?

    Basically have an XBMC Live style image for the AppleTV, the ATV has a few limitations running under the native OSX like being limited to 720p display resolution and is slower at drawing the GUI.

    It was done once with some very early code but its no longer maintained.

    Current thread discussing the topic, davilla has pointers on how to manually build everything.

    Totally understand if this is way past your area of interest.

    Sure. I’ll create a USB image using the latest SVN. Just wait a couple of days :)

    Hi,
    Can anyone answer Ron’s question above? Piethein? I’m interested as well on just how you enable Crystal HD drivers? Thank You.

    I don’t know because I don’t own a AppleTV :( Make a donation if you like me to work on this.

    @Piethein Strengholt
    Thanks for the reply, i thought you might have an idea. Great work on the Live CD though. BTW, I don’t own an AppleTV as well, I’m using an Acer Revo (3610).
