Hmm only 1 usb connection? (even if it is usb 3.0…)
Hm, there is a big difference, Ultra is Intel x86-Atom + Nvidia ION2, Prodigy uses a Realtek chip (No XBMC).
No, there are 2 USB2.0 connections and 1 USB3.0 connection on the back.
Misschien zie ik het verkeerd, maar de Prodigy biedt in tegenstelling tot de Ultra toch geen mogelijkheid tot het installeren van XBMC?
@Xander Dat zie je helemaal goed !
re German c’t (http://ct.de/-1200643.html) the device will “only” have USB2.0
The biggest difference is that the ultra is an HTPC (and so, capable of running XBMC and such) and the prodigy is just a media player, rather like all those “multimedia HDs”, only a bit more sophisticated. I do not see why they put USB3 and gigabit in it since to play even the highest bitrated HD media USB2 and fast ethernet is more than enough. If instead of a realtek chip it had a real CPU+GPU combo (like ION2 and Atom the ultra has) in a standard PC configuration and with the right amount of RAM, it could be an interesting beast.
