Does this one include vaapi support? like the one from 11.04 did
Yes
I guess that is the difference between an “evil” Microsoft, and “free” software: Stable semi-reliable releases, versus a mass of goo that is useless. After waiting for years, literally years, for a single, stable, XBMC release, that actually works, I give up. A whole lot of promise with nothing to show. It will never get any traction if the same bozos who currently appear to be in charge continue this charade of a “product.”
@George
Strange that so many people all over the world are using this charade of a “product” to play their media without issues then on a very stable and reliable XBMC release
+1 ADGR! using 10.1 and is as stable as a rock!
@George
YUP, xbmc its crap. Dont use it, its much better paying +1000€ for a fashioned macmini, with all kind of expensive peripheric than spare a couple of hours just figuring it out what its going wrong with your system.
Sorry, Ive to go, I left my Enzo poorly parked
@George I’ve been using XBMC for over 5 years on a daily basis. I’ve never even used a stable build since I’ve never had any problem with the daily/nightly/experimental/unstable builds. I really don’t understand what your problem is. Have you ever even tied installing XBMC?
I only use the nightlies on both of my HTPCs.
Not working for me….
I removed Nathan Rennie-Waldock tried an apt-get update using this official PPA. No new xbmc (had a build of 29-11). Reinstalled Nathan Rennie-Waldock PPA update again… e voila a new build from 4-12.
