XBMC 12 Frodo beta 2 has been released today. Biggest change so far is that this version includes an official version of Andriod. Not all devices are supported at this moment. A full list with devices can be found on xbmc.org
Also new is that XBMC Frodo will feature a beta 3. Apparently XBMC Frodo isn’t stable enough to just directly to a release candidate. Instead a beta 3 will follow soon.
Another large improvement is that XBMCbuntu beta 2 will feature Ubuntu 12.10. This version will has more and better drivers. Een voor Nvidia (en Intel) en een voor AMD. However, as a result, XBMC is forced to provide two images, one with AMD drivers (fglrx) and one with NVIDIA drivers (nvidia). This is due to quantal not having support for installing both proprietary drivers at the same time.”

I like the dutch and english in the same message
Groeten, Piethein
Yay! I can finally start using XBMCbuntu again. I have been stuck using 12.10 and then installing the latest betas manually from the ppa in order for my new hardware to be supported, which is a huge pain.
Hopefully the install process picks up my Ivy Bridge chipset and HD 4000. We’ll see…
