    upgrade probleemloos, geen DVD issues meer. Crossfade audio geeft helaas nog steeds problemen (check your audio settings)geen enkele instelling in hardware lost dat op….

  2. Irv says:

    Nice, that’s fixed my pause button crash.

    So far seems pretty nice.

    Im at v27 and after sudo apt-get update and sudo apt-get upgrade i get pink screen to login after pressing “shut down” and “reboot” in xbmc, if i login xbmc does a gui reboot.

    I dont matter what i do it will always display pink screen with login prompt, after i login with xbmc the gui restarts.

    This means that i cant reboot or restart the box. :(

  5. pallec says:

    v25
    I installed v25 and did commands sudo apt-get update & sudo apt-get upgrade and no pink screen with login credentials :)
    So “shut down” and “reboot” works no after upgrade with v25.

    Everything went fine and i hope i got beta2 now …

    I’ve used the freak releases for 2 or 3 years now. Should I use freak or openelec?

  9. Chad says:

    Just updated to the latest freak release and it still will not mount a Bluray .iso file. I thought Eden would support the play back of a Bluray .iso file. Am I missing something? Do I need to install additional software?

    @Jules,

    Depends on your hardware; I found Openelec (pre eden) to be a pain due to having an Xbox remote, and IR, rather than a media center remote. It’s lightweight but lacks a lot of what makes XBMC good in doing so. For example a lot of remotes aren’t supported.

    Impressed with XBMCbuntu, it’s a good platform and should prove easier to keep current over the old live install.

  12. Spencer says:

    Apt-get commands worked flawlessly. Thanks!

    Glad TMDB issues were fixed :)

  13. Jules says:

    @Brendan
    Thanks, will stick with the freak.
