The release of XBMC 10 is imminent and should be expected this week!

    De wijzigingen, zoals die in source-code zijn gemaakt:
    * RC2 -> Current: http://trac.xbmc.org/log/branches/Dharma?stop_rev=35566
    * RC1 -> RC2: http://trac.xbmc.org/log/branches/Dharma?rev=35566&stop_rev=35329

    Ten opzicht van RC2 zijn er eigenlijk geen schokkende wijzigingen doorgevoerd. Helaas gebruikt men nog steeds libmms 0.4 in Dharma voor de XBMC live CD. Daardoor doen streams van een aantal commerciele omroepen het niet goed in de uitzending gemist plug-in. Als er een LiveCD op basis van Maverick wordt uitgebracht dan zal dit probleem opgelost zijn, want Maverick gebruikt standaard libmms 0.6.

    Wat mij betreft mag de XBMCFreak LiveCD dan ook wel gebruik maken van libmms 0.6, zodat het voor ons Nederlanders wat bruikbaarder wordt.

    Folks,

    would you be able to recommend a “Dummy bullet proof” How-To for an integration of an USB-DVB-S2 TV card into XBMC?

    I recently bought a “TeVii S660 DVB-S2 USB 2.0 HDTV-H.264-USALS” device, but wanted to wait for Dharma as the (OS) support for such a device should work out of the box?

    In Feb theuni announced PVR Frontend support (http://xbmc.org/theuni/2010/02/06/coming-soon/).

    Heerlijk om te lezen dat XBMC 10.00 ieder moet kan uit komen.
    Natuurlijk wachten wij allemaal weer met smart op die mooie XBMC Freak Live versie :-)

    Het zou wel een heel mooi kerstcadeau zijn als de wifi manager er ook inzit :-P

    thanks Henk. Frankly I’ll need a (google) translation as my Dutch is not too well ;-)

    Maybe not easy to answer as I guess every VDR solution has it’s pro and cons, but was there as specific reason why you went along with yaVDR?
    I found a site which uses @Tvheadend, which I thought to use …

    No,no, VDR has works oke here (for 95%, it restarts sometimes).
    Problem is I can get TVHeadend working with XBMCfreak my Tevii HW. show’s up in dmesg, and in the Hardware-Tab of TVHeadend I have the Sat-channels but then everything refuse to work (no Live-TV etc.)!

    I’m ‘sweeping’ against 1000 (of +1400 at XBMC.org) of postings but still I haven’t a clue at the moment, every good idea, refuse to work.
    If PietHein release the new Live-CD I’ll start all over, but than I use TVHeadend PPA from @Gujs (XBMC.org) if that works?…….

    Yes, IMO there’s too much of information (lengthy threads) at the XBMC Forum about it. I read that dushmaniac (Team-XBMC Developer) will post an (updated) howto on XBMC + pvr later this week, so I’ll stay tuned for it. So I may have something on my agenda during the “calm days” between Xmas and NY ;-)

    I also figured that one of the TVheadend disadvantages is that it doesn’t support time shifting (,yet)!? So I maybe trying to go that yaVDR route as well …
