XBMC 10.1 coming

XBMC 10.1 is coming. The found some issues in XBMC 10.00. One of the issues that hopefully will fixed is the VDADecoder performance with OSX 10.6.4 and up. More info:

    without re-download and reinstall ?

    Does anyone know how I could partition my hard drive so that I could more easily update with re-installation and not wipe out my files ?

    just use 3 partitions:

    one for your base-system: mountingpoint: / , format: yes
    one for settings and additions: mountngpoint /home, format: BIG NO
    one for swap: will automatically formatted

    if you use thee settings everytime, and s long a you don’t format your /home-partition you’re set to go
