Plex 9.5 beta for Windows and myPlex

Plex is known to work very well on Apple TV’s and Apple Computers. Major news is that the next version of Plex, version 9.5 will also run on Windows. According to the developers the next release has been rewritten to benefit from all the latest work from XBMC:

The Plex desktop client has been largely rewritten, based on the latest stable release of XBMC. This means that it’ll benefit from all the great work that team has put in, and will have the updated skinning engine and player that Plex makes use of.

Beside version 9.5 a new service has been announced as well. The myPlex cloud service will store content information from the Plex databases on the Internet. Mobile devices and Plex Clients will be able to remotely access this information.

Werkt best aardig, alleen streamt geen DVD inhoud (Video_TS) of ISO.
Performance verbetering is mij niet opgevallen.
