Here’s a new experimental livecd. The Nvidia packages are used from the xorg edge repo. These should work better with natty. Also a new xbmc-live package has been used with initial audio support for amd fusion e350 systems. A proper .asoundrc config file should be created because of this.

Heeft iemand een .asoundrc config op een AMD-Fusion Foxconn nt-a3500 waar zowel hdmi als analoog audio gelijktijdig actief zijn ?
Dat zou in deze versie het geval moeten zijn. Het 05-configAMDFusionasoundrc.sh script moet voor de E350 het geluid via zowel hdmi, optisch als analoog tegelijkertijd moeten doorgeven.

Nog steeds geen beeld als ik een DVD afspeel, althans geen menus hoofdfilm wordt wel afgespeeld heb een Zotac Zbox ID-11, Geen menu kan dus ook niet voor ondertitel of geluid kiezen, alleen als de film pas draait..
Helaas start deze image niet op als ik hem vanaf USB key als live versie probeer te starten in een Foxconn nt-a3500 zonder harddisk.
Ik krijg als foutmelding:
FATAL: Error inserting vesafb (/lib/modules/2.6.38-11-generic/kernel/drivers/veo/vesafb.ko): Nu such device
En daaronder dan de Ubuntu login prompt
Heeft hij een harddisk nodig ?
(ik gebruik mijn foxconn normaal met openelec en boot vanaf een SD kaartje zonder harddisk)
I had the same issue on a foxconn nt-a3500 ION system with openelec. I found after reading on several websites that ‘sleep/resume’ problems are known on more computers not only with xbmc. I solved it by disabling S3-wakeup for USB3 ports in the BIOS setting.
It seems to be caused by motherboards with USB3 ports which do not go to sleepmode causing the pc to restart directly after a suspend action.

Deze net geinstalleerd op 2 machines, helaas is m’n sql database schema geupdate, dus terug naar een oudere versie zal wel een uitdaging worden. Niet eerder zo’n instabiele XBMC gezien.
Reproduceerbare crashes bij het bladeren door content. Mij te experimenteel om in te zetten.

Tried on Asus E35M1-M mainboard. Not working.
Posted this in the previous release thread. Managed to get this version installed on my revo 3700. Encountered the Open-GL but a quick reboot fixed it. No HDMI pass through. I’ve tried all the default options (obviously rebooting each time) but none of them are working.
Has anyone had any joy with this.

Pitched this one. I made some modifications on the system board of my Asus AT5ION installed in a MS-Tech 1200 enclosure. It turns out you need to figure out the right combination of USB ports used+correct jumpersettings+XBMC power settings. I was a bit flabbergasted too before, but suddenly it hit me. My Logitech now turns on the system (still not controlling it though, due to the incorrect instruction table). When i grab my Rii keyboard or iPhone i can shutdown or suspend the MF. I also tested with the previous versions of the liveCD’s PHS posted
Wordt hardware acceleratie ook ondersteund voor andere AMD/ATi GPU’s dan de Fusion APU? Mijn Mac Mini 2011 (met AMD HD6630m) werkt perfect onder Windows (XBMC DSPlayer), maar zou in de toekomst liever XBMC Live hiervoor gebruiken…

Hi, installed it too on a Revo 3700. I had the same issue with HDMI, but just removing the plug and plugging it back in did the job for me!
The only issue I’m experiencing is that the remote is not working after resume…

Meerdere setups hier gebruiken allemaal dezelfde (mysql) database. Dus 1 updaten houdt meteen in dat de rest geupdate moet worden, omdat de database versie door de nieuwste XBMC geupdate / aangepast wordt..
Maar goed, sql db exporteren via xbmc als een XML file, originele database hernoemen en nieuwe database(s) maken en weer importeren. Zonde van de tijd, maar zonder verlies alles weer terug gezet naar de vorige LiveCD.

I’m getting the same thing when trying to run XBMCLive. Once I get to the blinking cursor, if I go to TTY3 (Ctrl+Alt+F3) I am then able to login, startx, and run XBMC as root (though I have no sound.)

The previous version lacks vaapi. This one is the same. Why is vaapi not enabled in a release that has “Fusion” in it’s name?
Please check that –enable-vaapi flag before compiling. Anyway thanks your work.

Installed from USB, works fine. Only doesn’t WAKE on LAN from my android-XBMC remote app…while the previous version!
Also not possible to shut the system down with the ‘ exit xbmc’ button on XBMC Remote…how to fix this?
Hi. In my ION system AT3IONT-I this new image after some days appare this word: XBMC needs hardware accelerated opengl rendering. Install an appropriate driver.
Someone can help me? Searching around the other forum someone say that there is a problem with ATI drivers and fglrx file.
