i don’t know if here is the place to talk about things that can even make this livecd better

    1. use sabnzbdplus 0.51 rc2
    2. incorporate some of the nice features of xci.sh 1.08 script
    3. there are some supercool addons for sabnzbdplus like flexget .. could be included and configured to handle standard scene movies and tvshows.
    4. include Big Alaska skin and Ellipsis skin.

    cheers

The generic is a beta series. The latest version (4) has some problems when loading the coretemp.ko module, because it’s compiled against the wrong kernel version. Also the advancedconfig.xml isn’t loaded correctly. Please use the xbmclive v13 instead.

    1. sabnzbdplus 0.5 and up are part of Lucid. Just wait for the first Lucid builds to pop-up. These will come very soon!

    2. I’ll have a look at it.

    3. Have a look at it too when starting with sabnzbdplus 0.5

    4. Alaska only works with later XBMC versions. I’ll start using them when the next XBMC will be released.

So we will have a new version of XBMCFreak!!!
    This is very good news!
I thought you said no more custom xmbc versions by you.
I hope you continue the good work though, you do an excellent work here and i was sad to read that you stop producing xmbc for us.
i hope the new version brings new air in this distro.
10.04 is very close by. :)
    Regards

thank you for the new release! however it won’t let me install from a USB flash stick, the ‘install XBMC Live to HDD’ option fails at the ‘detect a CDROM’ stage.
